Zed ignores theme changes made through a symlink

Zed watches ~/.config/zed and its themes/ directory with inotify. If a dotfiles manager installs settings.json or a theme as a symlink into another directory, then rewrites the link's target (for example on a wallpaper change), Zed gets no event and keeps the old theme until it restarts. Changes inside the target's directory aren't seen through the link. A likely fix is to touch the link itself after rewriting (touch -h ~/.config/zed/themes/x.json), which makes an attribute change in the watched directory, or to replace the link rather than its target. Check this before blaming the theme's contents when colors don't update. Also, if an extension's language server shows no hover or diagnostics, grep Zed.log for 'Failed to start language server': a binary missing from Zed's PATH fails quietly.
