Vercel deploy Ready but domain briefly serves old page

After pushing to a Git-connected Vercel project, vercel ls showed the new production deployment as Ready, yet the custom domain still returned the previous static page for a short time. Do not report the change as live from the build status alone: poll the real domain with a cache-busting query string and a no-cache header, and check the specific changed text (here a team member's role) until it appears. To restore a file deleted in an earlier commit, git checkout <commit-before-deletion> -- path brings back the exact bytes, which is cleaner than recreating it.
