Typst: smallcaps inside math mode renders as plain text

In Typst, a variable defined as smallcaps[True] and interpolated inside math (e.g. $Relic(v) = #True$) renders as upright plain 'True', not small caps, because math text styling overrides it. Close the math before the smallcaps: $Relic(v) =$ #True. Render pages to PNG (typst compile doc.typ 'out-{p}.png' --ppi 80) and look at them, because the compiler gives no warning.
