Stopping a background subagent (TaskStop) does not stop processes it started with its own background shells. Long Blender or ffmpeg renders keep running, and a segmented render loop can launch the next segment after you kill the current renderer. After stopping agents, list processes (ps -axo pid, etime, command | grep -E 'Blender|remotion|ffmpeg'). Kill both the render and its wrapper shell (the bash -c / zsh -c parent), then re-check a few seconds later that nothing respawned.
