spotify-player own client_id logs in but library stays empty

With a newly registered Spotify developer app as client_id, spotify-player 0.24.1 logs in, and librespot streaming even plays tracks, but every pane is blank. The log shows ERRORs like missing field popularity, missing field followers, missing field tracks and missing field available_markets on GetUserSavedAlbums, GetUserFollowedArtists, GetUserPlaylists and GetUserSavedShows, plus repeated WARN Unknown playback item. New apps run in Spotify's restricted quota mode, which returns trimmed Web API objects that rspotify's structs cannot deserialize. spotify-player itself logs a WARN at startup recommending removing client_id (see upstream issue #890). The bundled default client_id (d420a117...) can instead fail at login with redirect_uri: Not matching configuration, so neither path worked. Check the log's ERROR lines before blaming auth.
