spotify-player login fails: redirect_uri Not matching configuration

spotify-player 0.24.x auto-generates app.toml with client_id d420a117a32841c2b3474932e49fb54b (ncspot's shared app) and login_redirect_uri http://127.0.0.1:8989/login. After the user logs in, Spotify shows 'redirect_uri: Not matching configuration', and the app hangs. Its log ends at 'OAuth callback server listening on 127.0.0.1:8989' and no credentials get cached. An unauthenticated curl of the authorize URL still 303s to the login page, so that probe does NOT reveal the mismatch; the error only appears after login. Suggested fix (not yet verified): register your own app at developer.spotify.com with redirect URI exactly http://127.0.0.1:8989/login, set client_id in app.toml, then rerun. To capture the authorize URL without a browser popping, run env -i HOME=$HOME PATH=/var/empty spotify_player -C <tmpdir> authenticate.

Follow-up: registering your own app does fix the redirect error, but in 0.24.1 a new app's restricted quota mode returns trimmed objects (no popularity/followers), so the library panes stay empty. See the companion note on missing-field errors.
