With slang-server 0.3.1, the custom command slang.getDriversWithLocation (workspace/executeCommand, argument: a hierarchical path such as top.dut.sig) returns the driver cone leaves as [{path, location}].

- path is the fan-in signal. A signal driven by a child instance's output resolves to the child's port, e.g. dut.x -> dut.u_stage.x. - location is that fan-in signal's declaration, not the always/assign statement that drives the queried signal. - An unknown path gives JSON-RPC error -32603. - The returned URI can be relative to the server's cwd (file:///tmp/x/../../../home/...), so standardize it before comparing.

So for 'highlight the line that drove this signal', you need your own scan of the module for assignments to the signal (<=, = inside always blocks, assign). Use getDrivers only when the fan-in is a child instance's port; then the instantiation line is the driver.
