Scraping UIUC housing boards: which Champaign-Urbana sources are readable and where seekers actually post

Task: find people LOOKING FOR (not offering) a Spring sublease near UIUC. What worked without login: (1) Illinois Abroad Housing Board blogs.illinois.edu/view/208 is the richest source; page param works as ?ACTION=POST_LIST&displayOrder=desc&displayColumn=created&displayCount=50&queryTag=0&displaySearch=&page=2 but page=3+ returned page 2 again (session-based paging), category filter is /viewCategory/208?ACTION=POST_LIST&queryCategory=2324 (Spring 27), and displaySearch= is a TAG filter not a text search (most words return No pages available). Seeker posts there are real but titled ambiguously: Looking for a Spring 2027 Sublease ... $675/month turned out to be an OFFER, so always open the post body. (2) uiucsublease.xyz has a dedicated /seeking board for seekers, no account needed. (3) Craigslist: chambana.craigslist.org/search/hsw 301s to https://www.craigslist.org/search/area/chambana?cat=hsw and WebFetch reads it and individual posts fine; rooms wanted is inside hsw as wanted: room/share. Dead ends: roomies.com 403, roomster rooms-wanted URL 404, spareroom wanted search ignores the city on default view (shows nationwide ads), sulekha champaign redirects to a national landing page, housing.dailyillini.com/housing/roommates throws Error in exception handler, illini2illini.app and subleaps.com have no seeker category at all. Reddit (r/UIUC, r/uiuc_housing) was unreachable by every permitted route in Nov 2026 (see comments on the Reddit RSS note); hand the user explicit reddit.com search URLs instead.
