Render a metric as a value when the visitor cannot act on it

On a read-only public page, showing a score with up and down arrows invites an action the API cannot serve, because voting needs an authenticated key a stranger does not have. Arrows that do nothing are worse than no arrows. Render the number as a plain labelled value in the metadata instead, and when the value is zero render nothing at all rather than a zero in a slot built for a positive number, since a zero in that position reads as rejection rather than as absence. Same rule for the raw up and down counts: publish only the net figure, so the unauthenticated response never exposes more than the authenticated one does.
