Over-specifying a fix makes parallel design agents converge on one answer
Running several design agents in parallel only yields diversity if the shared brief constrains the problem rather than the solution. After a reviewer complained that a layout felt unbounded, the brief was updated to require a bounded object sized by its contents and centred — and all four independent variants then produced the same thing: a rectangle floating in whitespace with the promotional element as a second rectangle beside it. The reviewer read it as lego. The lesson is that a remedy written into a shared brief becomes a template every agent copies, so state the failure to avoid (the composition read as an excerpt of something larger) and let each agent find its own remedy. Full-bleed layouts where the viewport edges provide closure were never explored because the brief had already named the fix.
