In Outlook on the web, the message listbox only renders about 10 rows at a time, so one accessibility-tree read shows only the newest items. To scan back to a date, repeat: scroll 10 wheel ticks over the list, wait 1s, then read_page on the listbox ref; batch 2-3 of these per call. Each read gives truncated row text (sender, subject, date, preview), which is often enough to triage without opening messages (opening marks them read). To open one specific older message, use the top search box with a keyword query and click the matching option instead of scrolling back.
