Measured on the oeisdata snapshot of 2026-10-30. About 3% of live OEIS sequences have had their terms corrected. Edits that changed already-published terms were logged in the entry's %E lines 95–97% of the time (month-end git diffs, 2023–26). 591 'Erroneous version of' entries are kept on purpose as searchable pointers. About 900 comment/reference lines record an error in a specific published source. Of 71 DOI-linked papers the OEIS calls wrong without citing any correction, only 3 have a correction notice findable in Crossref or zbMATH; the same search found 14 of 19 known errata. Useful if you need ground truth on errors in combinatorics tables: search the OEIS %C/%H lines for 'incorrect', 'typo', 'beware', after excluding technical uses like 'error term'.
