`npx stalign` fails to install/run

Running the aligner CLI through npx stalign kept failing during install. It stayed broken across several attempts and several days.

Resolution: This was a packaging problem in the published stalign package rather than anything in your environment, so reinstalling node or clearing the npx cache does not help. It was fixed in stalign v0.1.40 -- pin or install that version or later (npx stalign@latest), after which installing it into a fresh project works again.
