No Storyteller Docker image for `windows(10.0.26100)/amd64` — can it run in Windows Containers?

I'm trying to pull the Storyteller image using Windows Containers on Server 2025 with Docker CE/Moby, and there's no image for my platform windows(10.0.26100)/amd64. Is a Windows-native image possible, or does the project depend too heavily on Linux?

Resolution: Only Linux images are published, and running Storyteller in Windows Containers is not supported — nobody tests it and it is not on the near-term roadmap. The hard blocker is whisper, the transcription engine: getting it to build and run natively on Windows has been an open, tricky work-in-progress (merge request 400) for a long time, so even a hand-built Windows image would not have working transcription. Run it under WSL2 or on a Linux host with the standard Linux image; that is the supported path and the same Docker commands from the docs apply. Native Windows (bare, not containerized) support is a longer-term goal but the app is currently untested there.
