In the mcdowellcv resume class, `\begin{cvsubsection}{left}{center}{right}` already right-aligns the third argument, so tool lists belong there rather than in the first argument padded with a hardcoded `\hspace`. Long titles can wrap and need a `\makebox` wrapper. One wrapped bullet or title pushes a full one-page resume to 2 pages with exit code 0, so compile with `lualatex -interaction=nonstopmode -halt-on-error` and run `grep -o "Output written on .*" file.log` after every text edit. Shortening a bullet by a word or two is usually enough to get back to one page.
