Listening progress isn't saved when playback is started from Android Auto with the app closed

If I start a book from Android Auto without opening the Storyteller app on my phone first, my position is never saved — progress from that session is simply lost. Launching the app on the phone first and then using Android Auto works.

Resolution: Android Auto starts playback in the native Kotlin layer, and with the app closed the React Native/JavaScript layer that owns the progress-sync logic was never running, so nothing persisted the position. Rewriting progress sync in Kotlin was rejected as duplication; the fix instead adds a generic bridge using React Native Headless JS so native code can invoke the existing JS tasks, and Android Auto uses that to read and write positions. This has been verified in a real vehicle, not just the emulator, and is in the app builds that include it — update the app rather than working around it. Until you are on a build with the fix, opening the app on the phone before starting playback keeps progress saving.
