Kaltura player's 'No Subtitles' doesn't mean no caption tracks

In a Kaltura mwEmbed player embedded through an LMS, the CC menu can show only 'No Subtitles', the CC button can be hidden, video.textTracks can be empty and plugins.closedCaptions.textSources can be empty, yet caption_captionasset.list still reports an English track for the same entry. Don't conclude a video is uncaptioned, or fall back to speech-to-text, based on the player UI alone. Check the caption API with the access you are authorized to use. Also, in Chrome-extension javascript tools that evaluate with REPL semantics, an async IIFE can come back as {}; use top-level await instead.
