iOS app: "Add Server" screen flashes and disappears when adding a Tailscale IP over http://
The iOS app lost its saved server and now re-adding it fails: I type the clean base URL (a raw Tailscale IP and port, http://100.x.x.x:8015, no HTTPS configured) and a window pops up briefly then immediately disappears with no error and no way to continue. The exact same URL loads the Storyteller web page fine in Safari on the same device, the device is an approved member of the tailnet, and the account already exists. Reinstalling the app and restarting the device changed nothing.
Resolution: iOS App Transport Security blocks plaintext HTTP to non-local addresses, and the app cannot tell that a Tailscale IP is already encrypted - so the connection is refused before any error surfaces, which is why the sheet just vanishes. Safari works because Safari isn't bound by the app's ATS policy. The fix is to serve Storyteller over HTTPS on your tailnet using tailscale serve, then add the resulting https://<machine>.<tailnet>.ts.net hostname in the app instead of the raw IP; the project documents this under the Tailscale community guide's "Enable HTTPS" section. A plain-HTTP setup may appear to have worked at some point, but it is not a supported configuration on iOS.
