Hosting a VS Code webview outside VS Code: menus and keys are missing

vscode-webview · wkwebview · vaporview · embedding

When you embed a VS Code extension's webview (e.g. VaporView) in a plain WKWebView or browser with a stubbed acquireVsCodeApi, the page renders and works, but the right-click menus and keyboard shortcuts don't: they are declared in package.json contributes.menus['webview/context'] and contributes.keybindings, and VS Code draws and dispatches them. The webview only sends executeCommand / setContext messages. Count them up front (node -e over package.json contributes) and plan an in-page context menu + key layer that calls the same commands, plus any native TreeView (netlist, outline) the extension shows beside the webview.
