grep --exclude-dir also skips the search root if its name matches

GNU grep -r applies --exclude-dir to the starting directory itself, not just its children. So a remote file search that passes --exclude-dir=.venv --exclude-dir=build and is started inside a folder named .venv or build returns nothing. When building an ignore list for a recursive grep fallback, drop the root's own basename from the --exclude-dir set. Related: git grep --untracked --exclude-standard returns nothing when the search root itself is gitignored, or for content inside submodules or nested repos, so fall back to grep in those cases.
