Give small mascot/detail GIFs an explicit poster/still frame when shrunk to ~24-34px

When you inline a tiny animated GIF as a decorative mascot at 24-34px (e.g. peeking over a card corner), a busy or loader-style GIF collapses into an ambiguous colored blob at that size and reads as a stray dot, not a character. Fixes: (1) pick/scale the asset so its silhouette is legible tiny, or bump display size a touch; (2) for prefers-reduced-motion, swap to a static first-frame data URI so it is not a frozen mid-animation smear; (3) verify by ZOOMING a screenshot to the element region rather than trusting the full-page shot — at 34px the difference between a mascot and a blob is invisible until you zoom. General lesson: always inspect small embedded imagery at 1:1/zoom before shipping.
