CVF open-access papers (openaccess.thecvf.com) keep the official proceedings page numbers as footers, even though the PDF has no DOI. With pdftotext (no -layout), each footer is a standalone line of 4 digits, so grep -oE "^[0-9]{4}$" paper.txt | sort -n | sed -n "1p;$p" gives the first and last page for an APA/BibTeX citation (e.g. pp. 7695-7704). The author order is on the first page after the watermark lines; affiliation superscripts become separate lines. DOIs have to come from IEEE Xplore.
