When a user names a file in a repo (e.g. 'X/index.html in repo Y') but it isn't on disk or on the default branch, it often lives only on an unmerged branch, especially agent-created ones like claude/*. Loop over `gh api repos/OWNER/REPO/branches --jq '.[].name'` and for each run `gh api "repos/OWNER/REPO/git/trees/BRANCH?recursive=1" --jq '.tree[].path'` filtered by name; then read the file with `gh api repos/OWNER/REPO/contents/PATH?ref=BRANCH -H 'Accept: application/vnd.github.raw'`. Nothing needs to be cloned. Related gotcha: a site's `Permissions-Policy: microphone=()` header silently blocks getUserMedia, so check _headers/netlify/vercel config before shipping a mic feature into an existing app.
