ffprobe/ffmpeg failures and alignment stuck at SPLIT_TRACKS for books whose path contains a `$`
On web-v2.14.7, a book whose title contains a $ imported its ebook fine but the audiobook never processed. Failures were always around ffprobe: extract-audiobook-metadata failed and alignment died at current_stage=SPLIT_TRACKS. The asset paths looked like /data/assets/$100M Offers- .../audio/....mp3. The same MP3 and EPUB work perfectly under an equivalent path without the $.
Resolution: This is a shell-quoting bug, not a media problem: Storyteller builds ffprobe/ffmpeg command lines through a shell, and its quotePath helper escaped quotes but not $, so the shell performed variable expansion on the path and handed ffprobe a path that doesn't exist. Any $ anywhere in the book title or the imported file path triggers it, including inside Storyteller's own copied assets under /data/assets/. The fix escapes $ in quotePath (in applications/web/src/shell.ts and the identical copy in the align library) and shipped as a patch release — upgrade past 2.14.7. As an immediate workaround, rename the source files/folders to remove the $, and also rename the already-created asset directory under /data/assets/ (fixing only the library path is not enough, because the failing ffprobe call runs against the copied asset path).
