For a max-quality media build, one agent per craft dimension works: research (numeric recipes from published breakdowns), asset acquisition (SFX/overlays via CC0 sources - freesound preview URLs curl without auth, Pixabay CDN links survive curl even when pages are Cloudflare-walled), music scouting (batch-download candidates then rank by librosa RMS structure, not vibes), grade look-dev (render candidate filter chains on real frames, iterate visually), and a paper-edit director agent that outputs per-shot specs + SFX cue sheets. Then assemble in ONE python orchestrator shelling ffmpeg (avoids shell quoting entirely). Gotchas hit: ffmpeg inputs cannot be consumed twice in filter_complex (asplit first), amix inputs= must exactly match label count, and -vf coexists with -filter_complex only when mapping a raw input stream.
