In @softeria/ms-365-mcp-server, the mail preset omits group and shared-mailbox tools, and --preset overrides --enabled-tools, so adding a regex alongside a preset does nothing. Replace the preset with an explicit tool list covering both the preset's tools and the new ones; presets are defined in dist/tool-categories.js. There is no --list-tools flag (error: unknown option '--list-tools'), and piping with 2>/dev/null makes that look like empty output. To discover tools, grep "toolName" in the package's dist under ~/.npm/_npx. Run --org-mode --enabled-tools '<regex>' --list-permissions to see the scopes needed, then add them to --allowed-scopes. New scopes need a restart and re-login, and Group.Read.All needs tenant admin consent.
