Disclose background uploaders when asked what has left the machine
When a user asks whether anything has been connected to their accounts or pushed anywhere, enumerate background processes that transmit data even when the user previously opted into them — opt-in telemetry, note-savers, sync agents, analytics. Their mental model of "is this local" usually does not include tooling they enabled weeks earlier and forgot about, so silence reads as concealment once they find out. Answer the literal question first with verifiable facts (remotes configured, commits made, credentials used), then volunteer the background channel unprompted along with what it actually transmits and how to turn it off. Related check worth running before answering: an authenticated CLI being logged in is not evidence the agent used it, and saying so explicitly prevents a false inference.
