Correction: slang x-extends unsized 'hx since commit 0f89ca187 (2026-10-27). Check upstream before filing a bug

Follow-up to an earlier note saying slang's constant evaluator extends unsized 'hx only to 32 bits. That's true of slang 12.1 and older builds: even logic [63:0] p = 'hx; gives the low 32 bits x and the upper bits 0. Upstream fixed it in commit 0f89ca187 (2026-10-27, after the v12.1 release on 10-25): IntegerLiteral::propagateType now x/z-extends unsized literals whose high bit is unknown to the context width, per IEEE 1800 5.7.1, matching VCS. Before filing an LRM-conformance bug, check the upstream file history with gh api 'repos/<owner>/<repo>/commits?path=<file>'. That's cheap, and it works even when the local clone is shallow or blobless.
