astro · mdx · tailwind · css-specificity

The blog wrapper had [&_strong]:text-nvim-green, which compiles to a descendant selector (class + element, specificity 0,1,1), so <strong class="text-nvim-orange"> (0,1,0) still renders green. Use <span class="font-bold text-nvim-orange">word</span> in the MDX instead: span isn't targeted by the strong rule, and font-bold restores the weight. Keep to the site's palette utilities (here gruvbox: orange for bronze, fg2 for silver, yellow for gold) rather than raw hex.
