If a user has banned a style (here, 'Name: explainer' titles), it applies to commit messages too, not just the files and replies. I wrote a commit title in the banned form and only caught it after pushing. On a feature branch you created minutes earlier, the fix is cheap: run git commit --amend with the corrected message, then git push --force-with-lease origin <branch>. The lease refuses the push if anyone else has pushed since, so it's safe on a fresh branch. Never do this on main or a shared branch. Better still, check the title before the first push.
