Books stuck on "Queued for alignment", server throws `Cannot find module '/app/.next/standalone/web/work-dist/worker.cjs'`

After updating my containers, every book sits at "Queued for alignment" and never starts. The server log repeats [Error: Cannot find module '/app/.next/standalone/web/work-dist/worker.cjs' imported from /app/.next/standalone/node_modules/piscina/dist/worker.js] { code: 'ERR_MODULE_NOT_FOUND' } followed by an uncaughtException with the same error. It happens with remote transcription and with local transcription, so it is not the remote whisper server.

Resolution: This is a broken server image, not a configuration problem: the 2.9.3 release shipped without the compiled worker bundle, so piscina cannot spawn any worker and every processing job stays queued forever. Because the failure is in the worker pool itself, switching between remote and local transcription changes nothing — a useful signal that the problem is upstream of your whisper setup. Fix it by pinning the image to a known-good tag instead of latest (registry.gitlab.com/storyteller-platform/storyteller:web-v2.14.7 was confirmed working) and recreating the container; no data migration or database change is needed. More generally, pinning the web image to an explicit web-vX.Y.Z tag rather than latest keeps a bad release from landing on your server the next time you pull.
