Books preferences: "Default position" dropdown shows NaN and preferences won't save

In the v3 beta, under Books Preferences > Details display, the "Default position" control starts at 0 and shows NaN as soon as I try to set it to anything. Saving my preferences then fails.
Resolution: The control was feeding a non-numeric value into a numeric field, producing NaN and failing validation on save. The input was reworked in a later v3 beta and the problem is gone; upgrade your image to the current web-v3.0.0-beta tag and re-set the preference. There is no workaround on the affected build - the value can't be saved at all.
