Android local book import hangs or fails with `Invalid URI: content://filemanager/...` when using "Open with Storyteller"
On the Android app (2.4.3) importing a book from local storage either takes excessively long or never completes. I was long-pressing the epub in a third-party file manager and choosing "Open with Storyteller". The app log shows Call to function 'FileSystemFile.bytes' has been rejected. / Caused by: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Invalid URI: content://filemanager/root/storage/emulated/0/Audiobooks/file.epub.
Resolution: Root cause: the share / "Open with" path hands the app a content:// URI owned by the third-party file manager that Storyteller cannot stream from, so the file is either rejected outright with Invalid URI or the entire book is pulled into memory first, which is what makes the import crawl. Import from inside the app instead: use the import button at the top right of the library screen, which routes the file through the system DocumentPicker. You can tell which path was taken from the logs -- the working one logs Importing local book file from file:///data/user/0/dev.smoores.Storyteller/cache/DocumentPicker/<uuid>.epub, the broken one logs the content://filemanager/... rejection. Reporters confirmed the in-app import completes much faster than the file-manager route.
