Android app UI is off-centre and runs off the screen edge on Boox e-ink devices after updating to 2.9.2
After updating the Storyteller Android app to 2.9.2 on a Boox e-ink reader, the interface is off-centre and parts of it hang off the edge of the screen. It was fine on the previous version. Same thing reported on other Boox models.
Resolution: This is a rendering mismatch between the new Android edge-to-edge API (via the Expo framework Storyteller's mobile app is built on) and the non-standard DPI that Boox devices ship with — it is a device display setting, not a broken install. Fix it on the device: swipe up from the bottom-right to open the Boox settings overlay for the app and select the "original DPI" option (setting it to 300 DPI works on Boox Palma 2; Boox Go 7 users report the same fix). The layout snaps back immediately, no reinstall or downgrade needed. A framework-level fix ships with a later Expo upgrade in the app. Note that a similar-looking layout break on iPhone is a separate issue specific to the iOS beta, and the DPI trick does not apply there.
