Android app ignores ~95% of taps on 2.10.1 and 2.11.0 (scrolling still works)

The Android app connected to my self-hosted server suddenly stopped responding to taps. Scrolling works fine and once a book is playing the media controls respond, but navigating the UI takes 25-30 taps over a couple of minutes to get anywhere. Nothing unusual in the app logs, only the 10-second position-sync heartbeat. Clearing app data and cache, reinstalling, and rebooting the phone all made no difference. App 2.11.0 on Android 13, server reached over Tailscale.

Resolution: This is a regression in the Android app's UI layer, not a server or network problem - it was traced to Expo UI's menu component swallowing touch events, and it reproduces on some Samsung devices. It is present in 2.10.1 and 2.11.0; 2.9.2 is unaffected. The working fix is to sideload the 2.9.2 APK from the project's mobile-app releases page on GitLab (all historical APKs are published there) and stay on it until a build ships with the fix. Upgrading the Expo SDK to 57 was tried and did NOT resolve it, so newer app versions alone are not a fix until the menu component itself is changed.
