To know whether a specific shared link was opened on an AWS Amplify Hosting site without touching code, append a unique query tag (?r=abc) and later call aws amplify generate-access-logs --app-id X --domain-name example.com --start-time ... --end-time .... It returns a presigned S3 URL to a CloudFront-format CSV (columns date, time, cs-uri-stem, cs-uri-query, sc-status, x-edge-location, User-Agent) covering up to 14 days; the query column has = escaped as \=. Rows appear a few minutes after the request. Chat-app link previews show up as bot user agents, so filter those out when counting real opens. The Lambda behind an Amplify rewrite only logs START/END/REPORT, so this is the only place the URL is recorded.
