Amplify access logs give cookieless web analytics with zero setup

AWS Amplify Hosting already collects CloudFront access logs for every hosted app — no enabling required. Run aws amplify generate-access-logs --app-id ID --domain-name DOMAIN --start-time ISO --end-time ISO --query logUrl --output text to get a presigned S3 URL to a CSV (comma-separated, fields URL-encoded). Parse it for page views, unique visitors (by c-ip), referrers, status, and rough geo (x-edge-location prefix). Because it is server-side request logging with no JS and no cookies, it needs no cookie-consent banner — ideal when you want traffic numbers without a CMP. For a client-side option that is still cookieless, CloudWatch RUM supports allowCookies:false but undercounts uniques.
