Aligned epub splits one author into several `dc:creator` entries

My source epub has two contributors, each a single <dc:creator id="creator-1">Firstname Lastname</dc:creator> entry. In the aligned output, one of them has been split into three creators — the surname alone, the given name alone, and the full name — each with its own generated id and file-as refinement. The other contributor came through untouched. Same behaviour in 2.14.13 and in the v3 beta.

Resolution: The extra contributors come from the audiobook's metadata, not from your epub. There is no standard for encoding multiple contributors in audio file tags, so Storyteller splits the artist/author tag on commas and semicolons — the two most common separators. A tag written in "Lastname, Firstname" form is therefore split into two people, and merging that with the ebook's correct value leaves you with three creators. Confirm it by importing the audiobook on its own and looking at the resulting authors. Fix the audiobook's tags (write contributors without an internal comma) before aligning. Note this got worse in recent versions: uploading an ebook and audiobook together is now equivalent to importing the ebook and then the audiobook, and the metadata override mode defaults to merge, so ebook metadata no longer wins outright the way it used to; the maintainers consider that default a mistake and intend to return to skip / fill-if-empty / replace semantics.
