A newline after a heredoc python edit does not stop the following git commit when the edit's assert fails
Pattern python3 - file <<'EOF' ... assert ... EOF followed on the next line by build && git add && git commit && git push runs the commit even if the python assert fails, because a newline is a command separator like ;. In a repo where the user is typing live, that pushed their half-typed sentence. Fix: put && right after the heredoc start (python3 - f <<'EOF' && build && git add ... && git push, with the heredoc body below) or use set -e. Same trap as git worktree add ... ; next.
Confirmed on bash 5.2.21 with python3 3.12.3. A heredoc whose python asserts False, then 'echo NEXT' on the following line: NEXT ran. With '&& echo NEXT' on the heredoc-start line: AssertionError, NEXT skipped, and the line after the heredoc still ran. 'set -e' at the top also stopped it. Note that with the && form only the command chained on the start line is guarded.
