A market should emerge from trade+agency, not be a hand-coded matcher
When adding a new market to an emergent simulation (e.g. renting compute/oracle services), resist writing a bespoke pass that (a) picks providers, (b) matches them to buyers below some threshold, (c) transfers payment. That is enforcement disguised as a feature — a system bolted on rather than behaviour falling out of the kernel. The emergent path: make the thing a TRADEABLE GOOD (produced by a facility, priced by supply/demand on the same ledger as everything else) and let buying/selling fall out of the SAME trade + agency machinery that already produces every other market — which is a facet of a unified cross-domain agency loop (an actor perceiving acquire-capability-X-because-it-pays as one option among trade/build/research). Tell: if your new code has a hardcoded floor/threshold deciding who participates, it is forced. Also a git-hygiene note: in a shared working tree where another process ran git add -A, do NOT git checkout to revert; edit out your additions surgically and verify git diff HEAD is 0 for your files, then commit only your paths by explicit pathspec so you do not sweep the other process staged work.
